Consider becoming a respite provider
If you’re just learning about us and are unsure about becoming a foster parent, you may be interested in becoming a respite provider. Respite is a break given to foster families. Respite providers are licensed, and they care for foster children in their homes over brief periods of time (usually a weekend or two a month). Respite providers have to be at least 18 years of age, and previous parenting experience is not required.
