Quality Improvement Support Specialist

We are seeking to fill the position of Quality Improvement Support Specialist. Associates degree in Human Services or a related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to understand legal documents and proceedings specific to child welfare within the Children’s Court System and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with court personnel including judges, court commissioners, district attorneys, Guardian ad litems & private bar attorneys. Candidate must be proficient in computer software applications, have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to communicate professionally to all stakeholders and outstanding problem solving skills in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities will include:
  • Tracking and auditing timely submission of permanency plans and extension court reports
  • Timely completion of a placement packet following a change of placement hearing
  • Ensuring completed court documents and related correspondence from case management staff are collected, transported, filed, stamped and distributed appropriately and timely
  • Liaison between case management staff and court personnel.

Supervisor – Ongoing Case Manager

We are seeking an experienced human service professional to fill a supervisory position in Ongoing Case Management. Candidate must have knowledge of child welfare services and functions, including but not limited to out of home care including foster care and adoptions, medical assistance, applicable state and federal statutes and licensing standards, specific knowledge of child welfare casework and an ability to demonstrate attuned critical thinking skills. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills including various consultation techniques along with knowledge of local community resources is required. Experience working in diverse communities with youth and families is also vital to the success of this position. A minimum of three years of child welfare experience is required with at least one year of successful supervisory experience preferred. Position requires an MSW or related graduate degree, preferably with certification as an APSW or equivalent. Position requires extensive community involvement, rotating on-call responsibilities, and requires schedule flexibility in order to effectively respond to unforeseen circumstances. Lead Case Manager

We are currently seeking a Lead Case Manager for Ongoing Services. A bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.  Ideal candidate will have two (2) years of supervised experience in family and child welfare.  A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and certification by the state of WI as an Advanced Practice Social Worker is preferred.   Candidates must have knowledge of the laws and regulations pertaining to social services, children, youth and families and community resources. Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills and have highly effective verbal and written communication skills. Overall responsibilities focus on the safety and well-being of the clients we serve, providing team leadership by role modeling and assisting with the development of team members, and providing assistance in the administration of program outcomes. In pursuit of our goals, the Lead Case Manager will perform usual case management activities on assigned cases, along with training, support/direction, and outcome tracking functions. Must have own transportation, meet agency auto insurance requirements, and have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
