Overview
back-to-top

Friendships Unlimited is a recovery-focused social and recreational program for those of us experiencing mental illness. Friendships provides adults experiencing mental illness an opportunity to meet others who can relate on common ground for support, growth, and socialization.

Friendships Unlimited is a member run program of St. Aemilian-Lakeside and Waukesha County Department of Health & Human Services.

Discover New Friendships

Friendships Unlimited offers a comfortable place where adults experiencing mental illness can find support, acceptance, and companionship.

Members come when they wish and become involved in activities suiting their interests.

Staff is always available to offer support, share experiences, and provide resources to members.

Members are encouraged to participate at their own pace and to the degree that makes them feel comfortable.

New members may become involved in a buddy program to help get acquainted to other members and activities.

Membership Requirements

Membership and participation is voluntary and free. Members must be Waukesha County residents over the age of 18 with a primary diagnosis of a mental illness.
