COMMUNITY SERVICES
Caregiver Support back-to-top
The Caregiver Support Program delivers consistent support to enhance stability and successfully maintain placements for children in care. In addition to providing support, the Caregiver Support Program provides on-going crisis management and intervention, parenting education, and assistance for caregivers throughout reunification efforts or other permanency plan objectives, all with the goal of the best interests of the child.
Friendships Unlimited back-to-top
Friendships Unlimited is a recovery-focused social and recreation program for adults with mental illness. Friendships provides an opportunity for its members to meet others who can relate on common ground for support, growth, and socialization.
Independent Living Services back-to-top
Foster youth aging out of care face countless challenges during the transition to adulthood. We offer services specifically for youth who are aging out of care so that their transition to adulthood is more successful.
Spring City Corner Clubhouse back-to-top
Spring City Corner Clubhouse is an environment that empowers individuals -- socially and vocationally disabled by mental illness -- to achieve or retain the confidence and skills necessary to lead vocationally productive and socially satisfying lives. Clubhouse members build skills and self-esteem through the Clubhouse work departments and supportive employment programs.
Treatment Foster Care back-to-top
Since 1984, St. Aemilian-Lakeside's Treatment Foster Care program has been providing safe, nurturing foster homes for boys and girls with special needs who are unable to live with their families. Children in the program receive ongoing therapy and treatment services from our dedicated therapists and social workers.
EDUCATION SERVICES
Capitol West Academy back-to-top
St. Aemilian-Lakeside's expertise in producing strong students is now available to all school children in the City of Milwaukee through our neighborhood public school, Capitol West Academy, chartered through
UW-Milwaukee.
Community Day Treatment (CDT) back-to-top
Community Day Treatment (CDT) provides cost effective therapy and education to Waukesha County children aged 12-18 whose mental health, developmental, emotional and behavioral needs significantly impact school performance.
Day Treatment School back-to-top
Day Treatment School is a full-day program for boys and girls age 5-15 with emotional and behavioral challenges. The school combines a strong academic curriculum with therapy to help children transition back and succeed in their own schools.
School Based Services back-to-top
School Based Services is a prevention-focused community mental health program that helps elementary and middle school students whose emotional or behavioral challenges are significantly impacting school performance. Therapists work in public schools, focusing on early intervention to prevent students from needing to seek more costly treatment outside their home school district.

Alternatives to Detention program provides counseling, tutoring and skill development to youth in the Racine County juvenile justice system.
Care
Coordination

Care Coordination builds community support networks for children in
the Wraparound Milwaukee program. These networks promote community placement for children and prevent them from backsliding
into delinquent and destructive behaviors.
Residential

The Residential Treatment program focuses on the child, the family,
and the community in helping boys age 6-15 overcome serious emotional
and behavioral challenges. Our comfortable and safe residential
units provide a therapeutic environment where children develop the
skills that will help them succeed in their communities.
